Diamond is the second studio album by Spandau Ballet. It was released on 25 May 1982 by Chrysalis Records. The album was promoted with the single "Chant No. 1 (I Don't Need This Pressure On)", which was released in 1981, a full year before the album, and it reached #3 in the UK Singles Chart. The last single released, "Instinction", reached #10. The album was re-released in a remastered and expanded 2 CD Special Edition on 8 March 2010.

Limited edition 4x12" Box version of the album Diamond. Tracks are extended versions compared to standard album. A color poster and lyric sheet were also included in the box. The only tracks that were otherwise issued on a single were the extended version of "She Loved Like Diamond," which is identical to the UK 12" A-side, and the 8 minute "Chant No. 1 (re-mix)," which was later included as a B-side to the UK 12" of "Instinction." The rest of the remixed cuts were unique mixes to be found only in this box, though in 2002 tracks "Instinction" and "Coffee Club" were included in the "Reformation" 3xCD box and in 2010 all the mixes appeared on Disc 1 of the 2 CD Special Edition.
